Set in Japan in the year 4026, Beast of Reincarnation is a post‑apocalyptic action RPG developed by Game Freak and published by Fictions. The world has been devastated by a mysterious corruption known as Blight, which warps landscapes, spawns monstrous creatures, and causes forests to erupt suddenly from wastelands.

The story follows Emma, a young woman born afflicted by Blight and ostracized by society for her condition. Known as a Sealer, Emma’s role is to hunt corrupted entities called malefacts and absorb their power into her own body—a dangerous duty that strips her of memories and emotions. Traveling alongside her is Koo, a blighted dog who should, by all logic, be her enemy.

Despite their incompatible existence, Emma and Koo form a bond as they journey across a constantly shifting world. Their path leads westward toward the legendary Beast of Reincarnation, believed to be the source of all Blight. As they defeat powerful beings known as Nushi, the pair absorb new abilities, gradually uncovering the truth behind the cycle of destruction and rebirth that grips the land.
